Trading Futures, A New Slant On Work From Home
Ever surf up the term "Work From Home?" So many ways of making money...selling cosmetics or adult products, transcribing medical bills, woodworking, stuffing envelopes, processing rebates, freelance writing, all of them seem to imply 24 hour wealth. Yet none of them talks about a more direct way of making money, without selling, stuffing or processing...trading futures.
So many, if not just about all, the ways of making money at home require a lot of time. Selling cosmetics, for example, this is a very time consuming activity. Transcribing medical bills, how much time would that take every day? These activities may not result in your being outsourced, but to be successful, you'll be putting in a lot of time and effort.
Now here's where trading futures can make a difference. We are not talking about spending 8 hours a day in front of a monitor, we're not replacing one job for another. Once you get the hang of it, we're talking about an hour a day -- to make your mortgage payment every month.
We are going to use the S&P500 Emini as an example. The S&P500 Emini is one of the futures contracts that you can trade, designed entirely with the individual investor in mind. You can actually trade with as little as $400 a contract. You can open an account with $2500. When trading the S&P 500 Emini, every time the price fluctuates in your direction, you earn $12.50 per contract. Futures trade in contracts unlike stocks that trade in shares. In the world of futures, one price fluctuation is a "tick." 1 tick profit = $12.50.
Lets say you found one of these work from home jobs that paid $10/hour. Work 8 hours and that's equal to $80, before taxes, say $65 after federal, state, and withholding. That took 8 hours to accomplish. Now, compare that to trading futures.
First of all, with futures trading, to make $65, you'll need to make 5 ticks with a $500 investment. You might accomplish that in 15 minutes. If you use 2 contracts, say $1000 investment, you'll need to make 3 ticks. That's normally 1 trade. To make the 1 trade, that could be done in under 15 minutes, while you are still having your first cup of coffee.
Here's the best part. Trading futures is a business without a boss, no commuting, no getting dressed up to go to work, a business you can do anywhere in the world, and you can get started with as little as $2,500, all you need is a computer and an internet connection.
So stop surfing the "Work From Home" advertisements. Don't bother freelance writing, stuffing envelopes, processing rebates or selling adult products. Start trading futures for 15-30 minutes a day.
